The Steps of Your Project
Step 1 — Initial Consultation
Everything starts with a conversation. We discuss your property, your project, your budget, your goals and your ideas. This first meeting helps me understand your needs and recommend the best approach.
Step 2 — Personalized Questionnaire
You receive a detailed questionnaire that helps me better understand your lifestyle, daily routines and expectations. This step allows me to design a home that truly fits your lifestyle and your needs.
Step 3 — Initial Concepts
I usually prepare several layout concepts. Each option explores a different approach, allowing us to compare layouts, circulation, functionality and the architectural potential of your project.
Step 4 — 3D Presentation
We review the different concepts together during an online meeting. Thanks to the 3D model, you can visualize your future home and understand the spaces and volumes long before construction begins.
Step 5 — Design Review & Budget Planning
Based on your feedback, we combine the best ideas to create a final design tailored to your needs. We also review design decisions that can help optimize construction costs and keep the project within your budget.
Step 6 — Final Drawings
Once the design is approved, I prepare the complete construction and permit drawings required for the municipality, engineers and other professionals involved in your project.
Step 7 — Technical Coordination
When your project requires additional specialists, I coordinate with structural engineers, land surveyors, septic system designers, well designers and other professionals to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the project.
Step 8 — Building Permit
I prepare the documents required for your building permit application and make any revisions requested by the municipality until the permit is issued.
Step 9 — Ongoing Construction Support
If you wish, I can continue supporting your project throughout construction. Once your permit has been approved, you can build with your own contractor, as an owner-builder (autoconstruction), or continue benefiting from my project coordination services until completion.
